چکیده

This article concerns the SIRC epidemiological model for influenza A, which efficiently describes the mechanism of disease spreading, including the susceptible (S), the infected (I) and the recovered (R), along with a crossimmune class (C) that recovers after being inflected by different strains of the same viral subtype. The dynamics of the model is completely determined by the basic reproduction number R0. If R0 ≤ 1, the disease-free equilibrium of the SIRC model is globally asymptotically stable, which means influenza A will die out. Otherwise, the SIRC model may have exactly one endemic equilibrium which is globally asymptotically stable under certain parametric conditions. Also, numerical simulations are given to support our analytical results.

The Fractional SIRC Model and Influenza A

This paper deals with the fractional-order SIRC model associated with the evolution of influenza A disease in human population. Qualitative dynamics of the model is determined by the basic reproduction number, R0. We give a detailed analysis for the asymptotic stability of disease-free and positive fixed points. Nonstandard finite difference methods have been used to solve and simulate the syst...

Numerical Simulation for the Fractional SIRC Model and Influenza A

In this paper, A Chebyshev spectral method is presented to study the deals with the fractional SIRC model associated with the evolution of influenza A disease in human population. The properties of the Chebyshev polynomials are used to derive an approximate formula of the Caputo fractional derivative. This formula reduces the SIRC model to the solution of a system of algebraic equations which i...

A HilA-independent pathway to Salmonella typhimurium invasion gene transcription.

Salmonella typhimurium invasion of nonphagocytic cells requires the expression of a type III secretion system (TTSS) encoded within Salmonella pathogenicity island 1 (SPI1). TTSS gene transcription is activated in response to environmental signals and requires transcriptional regulators encoded within (HilA) and outside (SirA) SPI1. Two unique loci, sirB and sirC, which contribute to SPI1 gene ...

Effect of hydrophilic polymers on the wettability, static and dynamic, of solid substrate covered by confluent monolayer of air-damaged SIRC cells

The aim of this study was to evaluate the possible implementation of hydrophilic polymers as recovery agents in air-damaged corneal cells. The sessile bubble technique was implemented to measure the wetting properties of four selected polymers: hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC), sodium chondroitin sulphate (SCS), hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose (HPMC) and poloxamer F127 (PO12), at equilibrium conditio...
